The Thomastik Versum cello string set is capable of achieving balanced tone, focused sound and precise intonation with powerful projection. The strings in this set have the ability to produce a variety of tonal colors while maintaining ideal balance across all strings, for a lower, stronger voice. The A and D strings offer great sweetness, sunny, open sounds and expressive intonation and focus, while the G and C strings are capable of producing velvety warmth, a rich sound pattern and an elegant, fine texture. Like the Spirocore series, these Versum strings are designed around an ultra-flexible spiral core. The fast response and large dynamic range make this set ideal for principal and orchestral musicians, as well as chamber music.
