Cello String JARGAR SPECIAL D-RE
Around 1950, Danish cellist Jarl Hansen wanted more than his cello and gut strings could provide him acoustically. Therefore, as a member of the Royal Danish Opera Orchestra, he became increasingly interested in the quality, sound and materials of the strings, for years he experimented until in 1956 , he created his own company, Jargar Strings.
The Special strings are built on the long tradition of the Jargar Classic first and second strings, but these are more powerful. The secret is in the greater thickness of the strings, which gives them more power, volume and brightness and makes them the perfect choice for playing solo, chamber music, and orchestra.
